What is the difference between a walkthrough and the paid assessment?

The walkthrough is free and it is the normal starting point. It shows the system working and covers where it would fit for you.

The paid assessment exists for genuinely complex situations, where answering honestly requires properly examining what you already have rather than talking about it.

Most people do not need it. Start with the walkthrough and we will tell you if you are one of the ones who does.
