A structured JSON file a site publishes so AI agents get real data instead of scraping rendered markup.
A machine-readable endpoint is a JSON file at a predictable path describing something about the site: what it publishes, what content types exist, how to reach the important parts.
An agent reading it gets structured answers rather than guessing from HTML.
Publishing endpoints does not by itself create rankings, mentions, or AI visibility. It makes a site legible to machines, which is useful plumbing and is not a marketing channel. Claims to the contrary are guesses.
